During Spring 2007 Jen and Andy went over to the Wairarapa, to the usually sleepy rural town of Martinborough for and event called Toast Martinborough, a food and wine festival. Transport was arranged via Jenny's work, and a hired coach was taken to wend the slow, winding route over the Rimutakas to the Wairarapa. The day was very warm, and a lot of wine was drunk and food devoured. The event takes place at various different vineyards throughout the town, with entertainment provided by each vineyard. The highlight on the bill was due to be Kiwi singer Hollie Smith, who was due to play at the Te Kairanga vineyard. Sadly, this location filled out early on and we couldn't gain access to see the event. Here's a few photos of the day.

Elvis was alive and well and singing his lungs out as the entertainment at the entrance to Alana Estate vineyard.
Michael, one of Andy's work collegues, and his wife Kieran were also at the event.
